Facebook Fonts – Fancy Text to Copy & Paste

Weekend Notes is the sample. Bold and italic stay first because a post is easier to read when the letters are familiar.

0 / 500 characters

Style a short emphasis, then leave the rest of the post in normal text. Readers should not have to decode the whole update.

Example: Weekend Notes. The box is empty, so these rows are not your text.

How to use it

  1. Type the post line. Enter the words you want to emphasize. Empty input shows the example Weekend Notes and marks it as an example.
  2. Pick Post or Intro. The choice changes the recommended order and the note beside the list. Both choices use the same converter.
  3. Paste into Facebook and review. Copy the result and paste it into the composer. If the name field rejects it, that is Facebook’s rule, not a result this page can pre-approve.

Formatting and Unicode

Facebook already has its own bold and italic controls in some composers. Those controls are formatting, not the same as the Unicode letters copied from this page. A profile or Page name may be reviewed by Facebook. This tool cannot tell you whether a name will be accepted.

Compatibility

Not tested. None of these styles has a measured pass, fail, or partial result for Facebook Fonts – Fancy Text to Copy & Paste. A letter that displays in this browser is not evidence the destination app will save it. Check in the target app. This page will not mark a style unavailable without a test record.

The character count in the tool is a grapheme count for this page. It is not a published field limit, so the page does not tell you the text is too long for the app.

If the paste looks wrong

A post can hold a longer line than a profile intro. If the intro preview looks crowded, keep one emphasized phrase and leave the rest in ordinary type. This page does not confirm that Facebook will accept a styled name.

A practical choice

Bold and italic are the easiest styles to read inside a post. Use a lighter style for an intro, and keep a plain version of the sentence if someone needs to hear it read aloud.

Examples you can copy

Post emphasis

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬

Bold for the title of a post. The following sentences can stay plain.

Intro line

𝑊𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑘𝑖𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒

Italic for a short intro. It is still normal text underneath.

Readable name

𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼

Sans bold keeps Latin letters recognizable. Do not assume a Page name will accept it.

Questions

Is Unicode bold the same as Facebook’s bold button?

No. Facebook’s composer formatting is an app feature. This page copies Unicode characters that already look bold or italic. They can behave differently when you edit or search.

Can I put fancy letters in my Facebook name?

Maybe, and maybe not. Name fields have their own rules and reviews. Test the text yourself. This page does not certify names.

What should I do if the letters turn into boxes?

Switch to Bold or Italic. Those mappings cover more Latin letters than small caps, superscripts, or squared letters.

Does this page know Facebook’s character limit?

No. The counter on this page is the tool’s grapheme count. It is not a Facebook limit, and it will not say the text is too long for Facebook.
