Discord Fonts – Stylish Display Names & Messages
Nova is the sample. Small caps, gothic, and gaming styles are listed first. A message can also use Discord’s own markdown, which is not the same thing as Unicode.

Prefer a style you can still read in a member list. Gothic text is decorative; small caps are closer to ordinary letters.
Example: Nova. The box is empty, so these rows are not your text.

How to use it
- Type the name or message. Use the words you want to paste. The Nova sample is labeled and is not saved as your text.
- Choose the Discord field. Display name, server nickname, and message change the order and the explanation. The characters are still produced locally.
- Paste and look at Discord. Open the profile or the message box and paste. If a letter is missing, pick another style. Do not treat a green label here as approval; there is no measured certificate.
Formatting and Unicode
Discord messages can use markdown such as *italic* and **bold**. Those markers are syntax. The rows on this page are Unicode letters and still look styled after the markdown is removed. A display name and a server nickname are different fields. This page has not recorded a pass or fail for either one.
Compatibility
Not tested. None of these styles has a measured pass, fail, or partial result for Discord Fonts – Stylish Display Names & Messages. A letter that displays in this browser is not evidence the destination app will save it. Check in the target app. This page will not mark a style unavailable without a test record.
The character count in the tool is a grapheme count for this page. It is not a published field limit, so the page does not tell you the text is too long for the app.
If the paste looks wrong
Discord messages also understand Markdown such as *italic* and **bold**. Those marks are not the same as these Unicode letters. If a nickname shows boxes, use a shorter style and check the server’s own nickname rules.
A practical choice
Small caps and a short gothic style stay readable in a display name. Save message decoration for a word or two so the rest of the chat is still easy to scan.
Examples you can copy
Display name
ɴᴏᴠᴀ
Small caps for a display name. Partial letters stay in their original form.
Server nickname
𝔑𝔬𝔳𝔞 𝔑𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱
Gothic letters for a nickname inside one server.
Message word
𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢
Monospace as a single word. Use Discord markdown if you only need ordinary bold.
Questions
What is the difference between markdown and these fonts?
Markdown uses characters such as asterisks that Discord interprets as formatting. Unicode fonts are different letters. They do not turn on Discord’s bold syntax, and markdown markers do not create these letter shapes.
Will every server show the same nickname?
No. A server nickname applies to that server. Your display name is a separate field. Test the one you are editing.
Why is there no compatibility checkmark?
This version has no device log for Discord. Showing a pass would be a guess. Paste the sample into Discord and judge it there.
Can glitch styles break a message?
They can become hard to read or show as boxes. They do not run as code. If the message looks wrong, delete it and use a plainer style.
